Join a Society!

Getting involved in a society is a great way of meeting new people and meeting people who share similar interests as you. With over 150 societies available there is plenty to choose from, with many societies offering taster days for new students to attend and get a feel for the society before signing up. Joining a society, despite being a lot of fun, also offers communities of support for students as well as transferable skills for future employment if you land yourself a space on the committee!

Volunteering with Swansea Council

Volunteering is a great way to get involved in sport and to give something back to the local community by providing help and support to local sports clubs. As a volunteer you will be given the opportunity to develop existing skills, learn new skills as well as get a chance to meet new people. There is also an option to get involved with sports coaching - if you are interested in becoming a sports coach, or are already qualified and looking for more opportunities, please contact Sport and Health Swansea
