Course Details
This module develops advanced knowledge and skills in leadership within midwifery, while critically exploring the professional, cultural, and organisational factors shaping contemporary practice. You will examine how these influences affect the role of the individual midwife and evaluate their wider impact on the organisation and delivery of maternity care within the NHS. Through critical reflection, analysis of leadership models, and exploration of real-world challenges, you will develop the confidence and capability to lead compassionate, inclusive, and evidence-informed change within your sphere of practice.
