Course Details
This module supports you in critically evaluating your own practice and understanding in relation to key policy drivers at global, national and local levels. You will explore how policy shapes healthcare delivery, influences decision making and impacts the experiences of practitioners, services and service users. Through advanced analysis and reflection, you will develop a deeper understanding of how policy informs your role and how you can respond to, influence and implement policy within your practice context.

This is a work-based learning module. Students will undertake learning within their employed place of work. Academic supervision is provided at the request of the student – up to 50 minutes per month for the duration of the module. Action learning sets are offered as one 90 minute session per month.
