Course Overview

The LLM in Human Rights equips you with the knowledge and skills to address some of the most significant challenges facing society today, opening up exciting career opportunities in the human rights field. 

You will develop an indepth understanding of contemporary human rights issues around the world and explore how legislation, policy, and practice can be used to respond to these challenges. 

This programme is taught by leading human rights experts and is shaped by outstanding research.

Your Human Rights experience

  • Engagement with the School’s major initiatives, such as the Cyberterrorism Project, the Observatory on Human Rights of Children, and the Sex Work Consortiu

Human Rights employment opportunities

Teaching staff on the LLM Human Rights have established strong connections with networks that include representatives from public bodies, NGOs, legal professionals, government, and both local and international organisations.
