"The opportunity to be part of this year's Message was a unique opportunity that I couldn't refuse. The Urdd has been an integral part of my life for many years, and I wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to be part of a campaign aimed at tackling social injustice against women and seek to empower them to achieve a more equal future.

"The group and I have benefited from the friendship that has developed between us all but also with the Urdd. We have all been able to come together through the online sessions from different places in Wales and from diverse academic backgrounds, getting to know each other better and working together on a topic we all feel strongly about.

"By contributing to the Message I have become more knowledgeable about the subject and ways to take action to achieve greater diversity and inclusion for the next generation of leaders, innovators, and citizens of the world.

"One of the main things I intend to do in response to the Message will be to help ensure that the ideas we came up with in the sessions, such as creating safe spaces for women in Urdd camps and forming a diversity and equality committee board, will become operational as soon as possible. I'm really looking forward to seeing the positive impact the Message will have on young people."
