Kate Hofman is the founder of GrowUp Farms, the first vertical farm to sell branded bagged salad in UK supermarkets, including Tesco, Iceland and Food Warehouse.
The farm, based in Kent, and backed by £100m of investment, uses on-site renewable energy, meaning production has less impact on the environment.
