Jossy is a passionate researcher who is involved in a range of cutting-edge research projects in Human Resource Management (HRM, International Human Resource Management (IHRM) and related areas.
Jossy’s current research interests are HRM tensions and coping mechanisms in rapid growth firms, project-based organisations and knowledge intensive firms. Jossy also has a keen interest in HRM issues in the emerging economies, besides organisational culture, organisational effectiveness and expatriation.
Jossy has published papers in Human Resource Management Journal, Journal of World Business, European Management Review, International Journal of Human Resource management, Employee Relations and Journal of Gender Mobility. They have several papers in pipeline for leading journals on contemporary HRM issues.
They have been collaborating with several leading academics in the area to strengthen and diversify my research.
They have secured grants from ESRC and Indian Council for Social Sciences Research (ICSSR), besides several intra university ones. Jossy is in the process of developing several grant applications to further their research.
Jossy holds a Ph.D from Cardiff University and has been awarded several prizes for academic excellence including the prestigious Cardiff Studentship for pursuing my doctoral studies and Junior Research Fellowship from University Grants Commission (UGC), government of India.
Jossy has undertaken consultancy projects for the industry on several HRM areas such as performance management, competence assessment, assessment & development centres and wage policy. They have also conducted management development programmes for industry professionals on several areas in HRM and general management.
