About

Tony is a social educator, an executive coach and project management professional of 30+ years experience in commercial, public service and non-profit organisations. He has successfully delivered higher-skills leadership, innovation, management and organisational development programmes in the UK, Europe and South America. Most recently In Wales, he has held key strategic and operational roles In Consortia of Social Care SMEs, Lead Wales, Skills for Innovation in Manufacturing & ION Leadership.

As a tutor member of the Institute of Leadership & Management, an associate of the Association of Project Management and a KaosPilot, Tony is enthusiastic about modernising leadership behaviours, people engagement and innovation eco-systems within future-focused organisations.

A Senior Lecturer in the School of Management, Tony is currently pedagogical lead and programme manager of the Welsh Government’s £3.6m Circular Economy Innovation Communities programme to develop skills, change behaviour and build “communities of practice” across South Wales’ public service organisations.

MNXN009 Innovation Towards a Circular Economy

This module will develop professional learners ability to understand and create innovation management processes and practices in their workplace with a particular focus on `circular economy¿ challenges. The module will introduce learners to the `Design Thinking Approach¿, which will subsequently be used as the overarching framework to solve the circular economy challenges that participants will bring to the programme. The module aims to use a range `experiential learning¿ events to encourage learners to engage with theoretical constructs and personal reflection in order to inform their practice.
