Lucy’s career combines work as marketer in a range of private and public sector organisations with a focus on education and creating fair access to educational opportunities. She started her career in the learning and development sector as a marketing manager for Acumen, then moved into Higher Education marketing, and from there into lecturing in marketing at the University of Hertfordshire.
She ran her own marketing agency for several years before returning to full-time lecturing and then becoming Head of Student Experience at UWTSD.
Leaving HE in 2016, she co-founded a tech start-up, www.sortyourfuture.com, which she and her Co-founders recently exited via an acquisition.
She is the author of a series of six children’s books focused on enterprise education and sustainability and has been a Trustee for the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (The RSA) and the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales.
She currently teaches on the School of Management’s Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes, with a focus on marketing, and is Co-Lead of the RSA’s Innovative Education Network.
